# Command Centre: Check the Audit Trail

The Audit Trail in Command Centre is a permanent record of every onboarding, offboarding and template action: who did what, and when. This article shows you how to open it, narrow down entries, and check the full history for a single new hire.

1. From **Workflows**, choose **View audit trail** at the top of the page.

2. Narrow it down: search by actor, action or detail, filter by **Category** — Onboarding, Offboarding or Templates — and set the date range.

3. Read the entries: timestamp, who did it, what they did, and the detail. Switch to **Timeline** if you'd rather see it as a sequence than a table.

4. Select any entry to open that new hire's full **Activity history** in a panel — every action on them, from the invite onwards.

For a single new hire, you don't need the trail at all — open their record and switch to the **Activity** tab. Same history, scoped to them: who uploaded what, which file and how big, who verified, waived or reverted it, and when each document was pushed to the employee record.

Wherever you read it, it covers onboarding, offboarding and template management together, so you'll see more than onboarding. Nothing in it can be edited or deleted — a correction is always a new entry.
