Creating Form Templates: A Blueprint for the Easy File and the Easy Life
As in most companies, it is a requisite in most operations to be backed by a ton of paperwork for documentation and implementation. In the normal course of the day, important documents are being shuttled from one desk to another, from one department to the next, and there is never quite the cap over the constant need to mobilize information in a modern-day company driven by the ever-changing needs of its increasingly dynamic clientele and workers. Letters, proposals, memos, circulars, event invitations, emails, even certificates of employment are only a few of the many documents that go back and forth from desks of various employees.
At Sprout, we make the facilitation of these documents more efficient, by allowing certain users to create templates – actual blueprints for certain documents most often typed out and distributed – to help make the production and distribution of this en masse or otherwise, even if only in the slightest way, easier.
Let’s explore this feature of Sprout HR in the following steps below:
1. On the Sprout HR Dashboard, click on the Maintenance tab and select Form Templates from the drop-down list that appears.
2. Click on the Add button to start creating your Form Templates, for instance, the Certificate of Employment template.
3. After clicking the Add button, fill out the field for Template Name. You may then proceed to customize the document as necessary. You can choose from these options: Company Logo, Employee Details, Salary Details and COE Details to add more information on the template. As with most things about Sprout, this features leaves room for flexibility and adjustments to the user's desire
4. Once done, click the Save Changes button.
5. After saving, it will appear under your list of Templates. You can still Update or Delete it as necessary.
For the most part, these form templates are meant to make the typing out of documents much easier and more efficient. There are a number of documents that are undeniably similar if not entirely the same in format and content and typing each one out individually may only waste your time. Hence, these form templates are an attempt to bridge that gap. Check this feature out on your dashboards to see how much help it can be to your internal processes.
