# File Upload Limits Documents in Sprout HR

This article explains the maximum file size limits and accepted file formats for documents uploaded in Sprout HR. There is no cap on the number of files that can be uploaded.

**Maximum File Size**

| **Limit** | **Applies To** |
| --- | --- |
| 30 MB | Bulk Upload, Attendance Management, Leave Import Credits, and Employee Profile (Training, Documents, Memo, Assets, Medical Records, and Performance Management) |
| 10 MB | File attachments for Leave Applications, Company Logo, and Profile Picture |

**Is there a limit on how many files I can upload to an employee profile in Sprout HR?**

No, there is no limit on the number of files you can upload under an employee profile.

**What happens if my file exceeds the size limit or uses an unsupported format?**

The upload will fail. Make sure your file is within the allowed size limit and saved in one of the accepted formats before attempting to upload again.
