Good news! Tagging Consultants is available in Sprout!
It is best to create a new payroll group for consultants and assign them all so you can separate it from the other types of employees during the payroll run. This is to avoid any discrepancies or disputes since a Consultant has a different basis of pay, from Hourly to Daily, Semi-Monthly, or Monthly. In order to tag these employees as Consultants, go to the Employees tab > Select Edit for the Employee > Job Details.

- Select tax rate

- Select alphanumeric tax code
