[Setup](https://guide.sprout.ph/sprout-hr?hsLang=en#setup) # How to Create an Offset Holiday On Sprout HR Some companies opt to mark the holidays for their employees just a few days before or after an actual holiday. This is called an Offset. However, since most standard holidays are already set with the given date on Sprout HR, how do we create a new holiday and mark it as the equivalent of an existing one? Let's take a look at a possible solution to this.    1\. Go to the Admin dashboard of your Company's Sprout HR. On the specific holiday plan's page, untick the checkbox beside the holiday you wish to offset. Fill-out the details of the new offset holiday you are creating on the pop-up box. You can give it the same name as the holiday it's replacing, and then just add "offset" to the name itself (i.e. Offset Araw ng Kagitingan).
