The Feature Management Page
Managing biometric devices and mobile device registrations shouldn’t be complicated and with the Feature Management Page, it doesn’t have to be.
This tool provides admins with a streamlined, flexible way to oversee everything from device configuration to registration and unlinking.
In this article, we will guide you step-by-step on:
- How to unlink an employee’s registered mobile device in the Sprout HR app, and
- How to integrate a new Biometric Device into your system.
How to access the Feature Management Page
Go to your Admin dashboard > Access Levels > Navigation Access and scroll down to Feature Management. Enable the feature by ticking the checkbox as seen below.

Once enabled, you can now go to Administration Tools in your navigation bar and access the Feature Management page.

Managing Biometric Devices
How to view Registered Biometric Devices

- Go to the sidebar Navigation on the left of the page and select Biometric Devices.
- A list of all biometric devices registered under your account will be displayed, with their Biometric Device ID (System-Generated) and Serial Number.
How to Add New Biometric Devices?

- In adding a new biometric device, click the "Add Device" button.
- A pop up will appear and simply enter the serial number.
- Click “Submit”. If the device is successfully registered, a confirmation toast message will appear: “Successfully registered to your account.”
Searching and Filtering a Biometric Devices

- At the bottom left of the Biometric Devices page, you'll find the search area.
- You can search for your device by entering either: Biometric Device ID or Serial Number
- Click "Apply Filter" to view results or Click "Reset Filter" to clear search criteria.
Managing Registered Mobile Devices
Employees can easily unlink their own mobile devices through the mobile app, but admins also have the option to handle it on their behalf when necessary.
- Reminder: Don’t forget to inform your team that they can unlink their devices on their own mobile app for a quicker, hassle-free experience!
- Note: If device unlinking via the mobile app isn’t working for your team, admins can use the mobile unlinking feature in the Feature Management Page to assist.
Managing Registered Mobile Devices via Mobile App

- Log in to your Mobile App and click sidebar menu at the upper left corner of your screen.
- Simply select “Devices” and it will show you the linked devices to your account.
- Tap the device you want to unlink. A confirmation message will appear then select “Unlink”
Note: If you accidentally unlink your device, don't worry! You can simply add it again after the 24-hour cool-down period.
How to view employees’ Registered Mobile Devices

- Go to the sidebar Navigation on the left of the page and select Registered Mobile Devices.
- View all linked mobile devices under your client, along with the corresponding Employee ID, Device Specific ID (UDID), and Device Name.
How to filter Mobile Devices

- Use the filter options to search by: Employee ID, Device Name, Device Specific ID (UDID)
- Click "Apply Filter" to view results.
- Click "Reset Filter" to clear search criteria.
How to unlink a Mobile Device

- Click the "Unlink Device" button next to the device you want to remove.
- A pop-up confirmation will appear and simply confirm to unlink the device from your account.
- A confirmation message will be displayed and the mobile device should now be unlinked for that Employee.
Additional note when adding a New Biometric Device
When adding your new biometric device, the system will run a quick check to validate the serial number you entered:
- If the device is registered to another client/account, an error message will appear: “There was an error integrating this device to your account. Please coordinate with your Customer Success Manager (or experts@sprout.ph) to resolve this concern.”
- If the device is already registered under your account, a message will appear: “This biometric device is already registered to your account.”
