Troubleshooting: Error Adding Work Location

Issue Description
Some users encounter an error when trying to save or add a new work location in the system. The location is not successfully saved, and an error message appears upon submission.
Cause of the Issue
This issue is caused by the use of the special character “&” (ampersand) in the work location name or address.
Currently, the system does not fully support this character, which leads to validation failure and prevents the location from being saved.
Recommended Workaround
As a solution, please update the affected work location by:
- Replacing the “&” symbol with the word “and”
Example:
- ❌ Sales & Marketing Office
- ✅ Sales and Marketing Office
Steps to Resolve
- Go to the Work Location setup page
- Edit the affected location name or address
- Replace all instances of “&” with “and”
- Save the changes
- Re-attempt adding or updating the location
Expected Result
Once the “&” character is replaced, the system should successfully save the work location without any errors.
