Biometric Devices lie at the heart of the entire operation of the Sprout system. Logs from biometric devices are the basis for nearly all records concerning employees and their applications on Sprout HR. In order for Sprout HR and Payroll to work in optimal compatibility with these biometric devices, Sprout recommends specific model units and software specifications for the best possible experience with the use of Sprout. The Desktop Computer
Note: This computer must be dedicated only for Sprout HR and would serve as the server computer for the Biometric Device.
- Processor: Intel i3 32-bit or higher
- Ram: 4GB or higher
- OS Windows 7 or higher
Applications that cannot be installed on the server computer:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, OneNote & etc.)
NOTE: If you have an Anti-virus, please exclude the Sprout Biometric Device when scanning for threats as the anti-virus can cause the service to stop.
