Why Can't an Employee File for a Leave? I Received a Prompt That Says "You Should Apply for X Leave X Days Before."

Have you ever tried applying for leave and received a prompt that says you should apply for the leave only up to a certain number of days prior to it? This may mean that your company policy does not apply to the late filing of leaves. Fortunately, this is something your HR administrator can adjust from his/her dashboard. 

 

1. Go to Maintenance > Company

2. Select the company.

3. Go to Leave Types and Policies


4. Select the leave to be edited.

5. Under the Request Filing section for your chosen leave, select Yes or No and input the number of days before or after that you'd like to allow employees to apply their leaves, depending on your company policy.
