Will the Change in Approver Automatically Reflect in the Filed Applications?

An employee's approver can be changed at any time. But the question is, how will this change affect the filed applications of the employee?
 
If the employee has no pending applications at the time of change, then there will be no problem. All the applications that will be filed moving forward will already be forwarded to the new approver's bucket.
 
However, if the employee has pending applications at the time of change, then the pending applications will still be under the previous approver's bucket. Only the new applications to be filed will be forwarded to the new approver. In case you want to have the pending applications to reflect as well under the new approver's bucket, then the employee should simply update or re-submit the said pending application/s. You can refer to the following articles on how to update your applications:
Once done, the application/s will now be viewed by the new approver in his/her Approval Center.
