This service enables you to manage HR General-related functions via API. Most of the data and transactions that do not fall within both "Employee Service" and "Time and Attendance Service" fall within HR General Service.
Under the Administrator View of Sprout HR, you can see all of the settings specific to your Sprout HR account and be able to manage them via the HR General Service.

- Retrieve HR System Configurations – Access details such as:
- Company Information
- Departments and Locations
- Access Levels and Role-Based Permissions
- Trigger HR Transactions – Depending on availability, developers can enable certain system actions via API, such as:
- Posting company-wide announcements.
- Manage Administrative Settings – The HR General Service API allows retrieval and potential modification of HR configurations seen in the Administrator View of Sprout HR.
