# Error Notifications and Required Information - What Are These?

Once in a while, on the HR dashboard, you would find a prompt on the upper portion of the screen. This message prompt usually contains information about certain fields in the employee profile that have been left blank and have to be filled out with the necessary information. Take a look at the image below:

The sample shown above is for duplicate “Government IDs." The Government Information is one among the other required fields on Sprout HR Employee Profile.

Please take note of the following required information, along with the reason why the system would not run at its best without them:

- **Employee ID** – needed for tagging in reports.

- **Work Schedule** – needed for approving employees' applications. Without it, the system will not know where to tag the applications to or how to make computations.

- **Biometric ID** – needed for applications and for biologs to come in Sprout HR (under Attendance Management). This is also needed for Attendance (on the dashboard) and Reports to be accurate.

- **Email Address** – needed for the employee to get email notifications.

- **Reports to** - needed for applications approval.

- **Government IDs#** - needed for payslips to show, and also for security verification.

- **Login Name and Password** - needed for employees to log in to their accounts.
