How to Add a Company Unit in Performance+?

Company units divide the organization into smaller parts. Here in Performance+, it is divided into 4 categories namely, Department, Location, Division, Routing Group. This will be able to determine and section different roles in a company.

  • Department - it is a division in a large organization, usually divided per line of business
  • Location - this company unit is designated by location
  • Division - it is composed of departments in a certain branch of a company
  • Routing Group - is used to build new groups without needing to use the existing Department, Location, or Division

Here are the steps for adding a Company Unit:

1. Under the Menu Section look for System Setup, then click on Company Settings.

2. On the sub-menu on the top click on the Company Units tab. This will show you the four company units  (Department, Location, Division, Routing Group).Picture2.png

3. To add a company unit you just need to click the “Add” button. A pop-up will show for you to put in the new company unit name, once done hit on the “Save” button. This same goes for the other company units (Location, Division, Routing Group).

Please note that the name of new company units (Department, Location, Division, Routing Group) must not exceed 50 characters. Special characters are accepted.

4. Once saved, you will see the newly added company unit in the dropdown.
