How to Delete Pay Group in Sprout Payroll

 

There are instances where you need to delete a Pay Group in Sprout HR and Payroll. 

Kindly take note that you may only delete the Pay Group if: 

  1. It was not used to process any payroll runs
  2. It was not assigned to any employees

To delete a Pay Group, go to Setup > Company > Pay Group: 
 

 
You will see the list of your Pay Groups here. Click "Delete" to remove the Pay group.


 

For Synced accounts, you can only delete Pay Groups in Sprout Payroll if not in use. Once deleted, it will no longer appear in the dropdown selection in Current Payroll Information.
