How to Identify the Current Number of Leave Credits of your Employees

Managing and identifying the current leave credits your employees have can be done readily via Sprout. Even better, you can download this data directly into an Excel file format for convenience. 
To do this, here are the steps you can follow:
 

1. Under the Maintenance tab on the Navigation toolbar, select Company from the drop-down list that appears.

2. If you have multiple companies in your account, select the Company and then click on Leave Types and Policies.

3. On the upper right portion of the Leave Plans and Usage page, click on the Import Credits button.

4. A pop-up box will appear where you can click on the Download Excel File Template button.

5. As soon as it's downloaded, open the Excel file. You would then see the current available credits of your employees.

The file you downloaded contains the following:

    • System ID
    • Employee ID
    • Employee Name
    • Leave Type
    • Leave Credits

*Note: Now if you'll be monetizing the leave credits, make sure to generate this report before your renewal or before the year ends. You can then apply the monetization as an adjustment on Sprout Payroll and use this Excel file as a reference.

Additional note: Leave balances of inactive employees reflect their latest balance upon separation unless zeroed out manually after separation or final pay.
