When unposting a Payroll run, you could be confused as to why you keep seeing this error prompt:
The system will prompt you with an error message because it will not allow you to execute unposted payroll with the same pay group and run type at the same time. To address this, you must first identify whether any additional payroll pay runs from the current or previous years are still in pending status.
Here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Check if there are still Pending payroll runs for all years. (Note: The Current year, and previous years).
Step 2: You need to delete (if no longer applicable) or process them first.
Step 3: Once done, you can proceed to modify the payroll run.
