How to Setup E-mail Reminders for Appraisals in Performance+?

Setting up e-mail reminders will help your employees keep track of their upcoming evaluations and setting up alerts is just easy on the Performance Pro platform. Below are the steps to do it.

1. From the Menu Section on your left look for “System Setup” then click on “Manage Alerts”.

Note: Please be advised that on the "Performance Assessments" tab, the "Appraiser Notification" will occupy the left half of the screen, and if the Self-Evaluation feature is set to required or optional, then the "Employee Notification" options will be on the right half of the screen.

 

2. If you're utilizing the concurrent appraisals feature and want the alert to apply to concurrent appraisals as well as default appraisals, tick the Apply to Concurrent Appraisals checkbox(es) under "Appraiser Notification" and "Employee Notification."

3. Under Choose e-mail type and schedule, you will see Reminders and Overdue options.

Reminders - this will determine when will the email notification will be sent, you may choose from the options below.

Overdue - this activates emails for past-due assessments, you can make your selection from the following durations available or create your custom duration.

Note:  The checkbox is the duration and the radio button is the basis of the duration. As shown below the notification will be sent 2 weeks before the Due date.

4. Under "Choose Recipients", allows you to choose the users that will receive the email notification. Here we have two options:

All Appraisers/All Employees- the notification will be sent to all appraisers/employees.

Selected Appraisers/Selected Employees- by clicking this option a full list of users will pop up for you to choose from. When your selections are complete, don't forget to click on the "Select" button.

5. Under "Compose e-mail notification message", you have the option to edit the email template. In the "Subject" and "Message" boxes, you may edit the default text as desired.Picture7.png

6. Once everything is done, don't forget to click on the "Save" button.
