Password Notification Toggle

This feature lets companies control whether password-related system emails—such as password reset links and account invitations—are sent to employees. It is available for accounts with Single Sign-On (SSO) enabled, and can be activated by submitting a Change Request Form. Once enabled, it can be configured via the Email Notification Settings page in the Company module.

  1. Once the Password Notification Toggle feature is activated, go to Company > Email Notification Settings
  2. Scroll to the new section: Password notification emails
  3. Use the checkbox “Enable sending of password notification emails”

✅ Behavior When Checkbox is ENABLED

  • System sends the following emails:
    • New Employee Invitation
    • Password Update Request (via Employee Profile)
  • “Send Reset Password” button is visible and enabled on Employee Profiles

❌ Behavior When Checkbox is DISABLED

  • System suppresses the same emails listed above
  • “Send Reset Password” button is hidden/disabled in Employee Profiles
  • Setting is persistent across sessions (remains even after logout/login)

🔄 Behavior When the Feature is disabled

  • Password-related emails are sent as usual
  • The Password notification emails section is not shown
  • If the feature is re-enabled later, the checkbox defaults to checked
