Role Center: Changing the User Type of a Role with Users Assigned

When a role has been assigned to Employees only and you want to change the user type applicable for a role to “Guest”, a warning will be shown to confirm the change. Confirming the change will remove previously assigned employees to the role.

If you change your mind, you may choose to “Cancel” the change to revert to the original assigned users.

The same warning applies when changing a “Guest” user type to “Employee” or when changing from “Both Employee & Guest” to either “Employee” or “Guest” user type.

Setting of Permissions

Step 1: Click the “Set Permissions” tab within the Role page.

Step 2: In the left-side column of the section, select any module from any Sprout application you’re organization is currently using that is supported with Role Center.

Step 3: In the right-side column of the section, review the list of submodules and actions that can be allowed or denied access to for the role.

Step 4: Simply click the checkbox or toggle based on the action you want to permit or deny to the role.
