The Bulk Upload Template can be used for both adding new employees and editing existing ones. For added security measures in Sprout Payroll, we have separated the template for these two tasks.
Bulk Add Template
This is a blank template for adding new employee profiles only. To download, click on the ‘Employees’ tab and then on ‘Import Excel.’ The Download Excel Template for Adding link will then appear in a pop-out.
Bulk Edit Template
Meanwhile, this template is for editing information on existing employee profiles. To download, click on the ‘Employees’ tab and then on ‘Import Excel.’ The Download Excel Template for Edit link will then appear in a pop-out.
| Please note that the information in both templates is exactly what it is right now. To distinguish between the two, refer to cell A1 which will either be ‘Bulk ADD’ or ‘Bulk EDIT’ |
