What is an AI Agent or AI Sidekick?
An AI agent or AI sidekick is like a digital worker that looks at a problem or process, decides what to do, and takes action to help get a job done, often with some level of independence or intelligence.
Think of a smart assistant who can work on their own, follow goals, and learn to do things better over time.
How is Sprout Concierge or Sprout Info different from Sidekick Central?
Sprout Concierge and Sprout Info used to be separate bots. Now, they’re part of Sidekick Central which centralizes all AI sidekicks in one place for your use!
Why do I need Sidekick Central?
Sidekick Central gives you easy access to powerful AI sidekicks that can help with HR, Payroll, and other workplace tasks. It’s a centralized platform designed to support you throughout your workday; whether you need quick answers, help with processes, or just a smarter way to get things done.
How does Sidekick Central work?
Sidekick Central works by letting admins add and customize pre-built AI sidekicks to fit their company’s needs. Then, employees can use those sidekicks to automate tasks and get help with their day-to-day work, making things faster, easier, and more efficient.
Will my company data be secured?
Absolutely! Sprout takes data privacy (DP) and information security (IS) seriously. On top of Sprout being ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified, we are partnered with Microsoft Azure, taking into account these security and privacy requirements:
- Azure meets a broad set of international and industry-specific compliance standards, such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 1 and SOC 2, as well as country-specific standards, including Australia IRAP, UK G-Cloud, and Singapore MTCS.
- Azure is subject to rigorous independent third-party audits to verify compliance and conformance with standards and laws and regulations.

All conversations also remain under your control: you can delete them at any time, and once cleared, they aren’t stored. In short, your data, your choice, your control.
How do I activate Sidekick Central for my company?
If you’re using Sprout HR, Single Sign-On (SSO) Mode should be enabled. Please contact experts@sprout.ph or your customer success manager to enable SSO for your organization.
Once SSO is already enabled, Sidekick Central will be readily accessible on your HR dashboard or mobile app. Simply agree to the terms, and you can start using the available sidekicks whether you’re an admin or an employee. For free sidekicks like Sprout Info or HR Link, there’s no need for admin approval before employees can access them.

Sidekick Central is also supported in Sprout HR Lite.
Who will have access to Sidekick Central?
Only employees within your organization should be able to access Sidekick Central as data involved is also confidential and specific to your organization. Logging in is required before accessing it.
Can I limit access to certain sidekicks by user or department?
At the moment, sidekicks are designed to be activated for all employees in the company so everyone can access and use them.
How do I access multiple sidekicks if I’m a super admin handling multiple companies in Sprout HR?
If you’re a super admin handling multiple companies, you will only be able to view and access the sidekicks of the company you’re assigned to within Sprout HR.
Are the sidekicks capable of handling multi-turn conversations?
Yes! All sidekicks retain context; meaning, it has the ability to understand follow-up questions pertaining a user’s initial question.
How much does Sidekick Central cost?
Sidekick Central is not sold as a whole. Rather, you only pay for what you use via credits. Each sidekick has a set credit value, and credits are used up based on how much you interact with them. Once you activate, your company will receive 300 free credits every month so you can try it out!
Can I try Sidekick Central before committing?
Of course! Every company receives 300 credits per month for free, allowing you to explore and test the sidekicks without upfront costs. Afterwards, you may contact your CSM if you want to upgrade to a paid plan.
My company doesn’t use Sprout. Can I use Sidekick Central?
Not at the moment. Sidekick Central is currently available exclusively to Sprout clients. But stay tuned, as we’re working on exciting updates for the future!
Can I carry over my unused credits to next month?
No. Credits reset at the beginning of each month, so any unused credits won’t roll over.
