Include or Exclude 13th Month Income in Final Pay Run

We’re listening, dear clients, and we’re adding this new feature for you! The 13th month income can now be included in or excluded from the final pay computation.

To set this up, hover the arrow over the Setup tab and select Company and click Profile. Scroll down to the Final Pay Computation section and select “Yes” or “No” under Include 13th Month Pay?. Click Save at the bottom.

New Hire Prorated Computation

A new proration method will be available very soon! This is for companies that do new hire prorating by deducting the work days before the actual hire date within the pay period. To set this up, hover the arrow over Setup > Company then click Profile.

Scroll down to the New Hire Prorated Computation section and select “Pro-rated / Salary less absent” under Proration method. Click Save at the bottom.

China Bank and Security Bank Payroll Bank / DAT Files

We’re adding these two banks to Sprout Payroll! To generate the DAT files, make sure you’ve added the banks first.

After processing payroll, go to the bottom of the payroll summary, hover the arrow over Download Reports and click Bank DAT File.
