Synced Accounts: How to Add, Update, and Assign Cost Centers to Employees

Cost Centers in Sprout Payroll are considered as departments or units within the company in which costs are being charged for proper documentation. Company Accountants are the ones who usually utilize this feature as cost centers are being used for accounting purposes. 

a) The users would need a create a New Cost Center in Sprout Payroll. This can be done manually by clicking Add new record or upload Cost Center in bulk. To do this, you may refer to these KB articles:

b.1) The Cost Centers can be assigned under the Employee Profile > Current Payroll Information tab >  Employment Details in Sprout HR and it will automatically appear in Sprout Payroll.
