What is Sidekick?
Sidekick is Sprout’s AI companion for work. It uses HR, payroll, and compliance intelligence to help employees get instant answers and reduce admin friction. Furthermore, Sidekick brings all Sprout AI agents together in one place, giving users a smoother, more consistent experience across HR, payroll, compliance, and workplace tools.
Why do I need Sidekick?
We're simplifying the experience so you no longer need to switch between different agents or platforms. Everything you need—from HR info to payroll inquiries to policy guidance—is now centralized and easier to use.
What happened to Sprout Info and other standalone features?
Sprout Info and other agents are now housed inside Sidekick for a more unified experience. They still work the same, just in a more convenient place!
How is Concierge or Sprout Info different from Sidekick?
Concierge and Sprout Info used to be separate bots. Now, they’re part of Sidekick which unifies all AI agents in one place for your use!
Is it part of our Sprout package?
Yes. Sidekick is built into Sprout HR and Mobile — there’s no separate tool or license. Every Sprout client can access Sidekick Central and use the free AI agents via Sidekick. Only Concierge has a credit limit.
Will my company data be secured?
Absolutely! Sprout takes data privacy (DP) and information security (IS) seriously. On top of Sprout being ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified, we are partnered with Microsoft Azure, taking into account these security and privacy requirements:
- Azure meets a broad set of international and industry-specific compliance standards, such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 1 and SOC 2, as well as country-specific standards, including Australia IRAP, UK G-Cloud, and Singapore MTCS.
- Azure is subject to rigorous independent third-party audits to verify compliance and conformance with standards and laws and regulations.

All conversations also remain under your control: you can delete them at any time, and once cleared, they aren’t stored. In short, your data, your choice, your control.
How do I activate Sidekick for my company?
If you’re using Sprout HR, Single Sign-On (SSO) Mode should be enabled. Please contact experts@sprout.ph or your customer success manager to enable SSO for your organization.
Once SSO is already enabled, Sidekick will be readily accessible on your HR dashboard or mobile app. No need to file any change requests! Simply agree to the terms, and you can start using it whether you’re an admin or an employee. You can also visit sidekick.sprout.ph.

Sidekick is also supported in Sprout HR Lite.
Who will have access to Sidekick?
Only employees within your organization should be able to access Sidekick as data involved is also confidential and specific to your organization. Logging in is required before accessing it.
Will employees need to do anything to start using Sidekick?
No setup is needed. Once Sidekick is enabled, employees can start using the agents right away.
Is Sidekick capable of handling multi-turn conversations?
Yes! Sidekick retains context; meaning, it has the ability to understand follow-up questions pertaining a user’s initial question.
How much does Sidekick cost?
Sidekick is free to use forever. You can use Sidekick without paying anything!
Some agents in Sidekick Central, such as Concierge, use a credit system. This means you only use credits when you interact with those specific agents. You are not paying for the whole platform.
Each of these agents uses a certain number of credits based on how often you use them. To help you get started, your company gets 300 free credits every month, so you can try these agents at no cost.
Can I try Sidekick before committing?
Of course! Every client receives 300 credits per month for free, allowing you to explore and test the agents like Concierge without upfront costs. Afterwards, you may contact your CSM if you want to upgrade to a paid plan, specifically for Concierge.
Can I carry over my unused credits to next month?
No. Credits reset at the beginning of each month, so any unused credits won’t roll over.
Can I assign credits per department or per subcompany?
Not manually. Credits are assigned automatically per subcompany, based on your subscription. Every company is given free 300 credits each month. For example, if your account (e.g. client.hrhub.ph) has two companies under it, each company will receive their own 300 credits.
My company doesn’t use Sprout. Can I use Sidekick?
Not at the moment. Sidekick is currently available exclusively to Sprout clients.
Will more AI agents be added in the future?
Absolutely! More advanced AI agents, features, and integrations are planned as Sidekick continues to evolve.
Are other languages supported by Sidekick?
Yes, you may chat in any language, and Sidekick will be able to understand.
Can I use Sidekick to ask other people’s information?
No. It can only retrieve your own HR or payroll information, so, for example, your manager can’t request your employee information yet.
