Why is the Create New Payroll Button Missing?

Have you ever wondered why the 'Create New Payroll' button is not showing in your account? 

Any payroll admin will not be able to create a new payroll run of the same payroll run type if there is still an existing PENDING payroll.

To resolve this, here's what you can do: 

1. Go to the Payroll Runs tab

2. Select Year and select ALL

3. Review all payroll runs (including previous years) to check any Pending status payroll.

  • In the screenshot above, the Pending is the December - Period 2 (Normal Payroll) for Rank and File & Officer. 

Options: 

A) If the payroll run was not used, click View and Delete

 

B) If the payroll run was used, please PROCESS it.
