Why is the Processed tab on the Approval Center showing a Pending Application?

 

Have you ever encountered a situation where upon checking your Processed tab on the Approval Center, you find a Pending application included in the list? Take a quick look at the image below: 

 

 

For some companies who use multiple levels of approval, you may find yourself looking at the Processed tab with a pending application which even you may find yourself unable to approve. This means that the application is still actually pending approval by a manager or approver. It appears on your admin dashboard, because of the Employee viewing provided on your access level (Either All, Direct Reports, or Direct and Line Reports -- learn more about these here).

 

Once the approval has been given by the manager or approver, you will find the application labeled as Approved under the Processed tab.
